Preseason Training has started off to a flyer for the Rams.

Since officially going back to training on January the 2nd, there have been over 80 different players hit the track, most nights more than 60 players at a time training hard – 60 players turned up on Wednesday Night to brave the 40 degree heat.

Most of the 2km Time Trial results were very positive across the board. The boys have had a great mix of running, skills, strength & conditioning, and competitive work.

Continued improvement from the 2018 squad has been excellent – with new recruits and First Year Seniors (coming up from the Grand Finalist U16.5 Squad in 2018) also looking very impressive.

There is already tough competition for spots across all 3 Senior sides, with Senior Coach Ben Porter really pleased with the competitiveness amongst the squad – seeing the competitiveness throughout the group in each drill described as “top class”.

After a session off this morning for Australia Day, the boys head into Week 4 of Preseason on Monday the 28th of January.

Senior Coaching staff will be finalised in the coming weeks.
