Marion Senior Women's will field a Division 6 team in the Adelaide Football League in 2024. The season consists of 15 rounds followed by a final series.
Games are played on a Saturday with home and away games as per schedule above. Coaches will advise players of what time to arrive at the ground prior to game start time.
All Senior Women are required to have their own Marion shorts and socks (green) for playing (purchase through Sportspower Store, Marion). Players will be recommended to purchase their own team guernsey for sizing purposes however some team guernseys will be supplied and will need to be returned to the club after every game.
If a player wishes to wear 'skins' under their shorts, the SAWFL requires that they only be beige in colour. Other coloured skins are not allowed and the club may be subject to fines if players do not comply. No jewellery can be worn during games and nails must be cut.
Volunteers are required to assist with interchange, time keeping, running water and scoreboard. Coordination of these roles are managed by Team Managers. Help is also required on the BBQ and canteen. The player leadership group will roster players to help.
All registered and financial players are covered by the AFL Insurance Scheme which assists in covering major non-Medicare costs which may arise as a result of injury. The cost of an ambulance is not covered by this insurance and players are advised to have private ambulance cover.
